The Yomiuri Giants players will slot into a talented Adelaide roster looking to win their third straight Australian Baseball League championship.

Eight players from Major League Baseball's Philadelphia Phillies will suit up for the Giants this year, including three Australians.

There are nine further Australian players on the Giants roster with World Baseball Classic experience.

The season begins November 15. The Japanese players are expected to arrive on November 4.
